The paper will examine the latest literature and evidence to: examine the case for improving financial capability, describe the impact of efforts to do so, and identify opportunities for further innovation, investment and research. The paper will review the evidence about interventions that have proven effective or hold promise to be effective, as well as identify gaps where evidence is missing or inconclusive or where research has failed to show effectiveness. This white paper is intended to demonstrate the importance of building effectiveness research into the innovation process.
